To the rhythm of the First Nations

Restaurant La Traite

Restaurant La Traite is the perfect place to discover cuisine inspired by the First Nations terroir. The modern decor, inspired by Indigenous knowledge, immerses us in the heart of nature, with its peeled tree trunks as columns and the skins of wild animals. In the summer, the magnificent terrace on the edge of the Akiawenrahk’ River offers a unique atmosphere in Quebec. In this exceptional setting comes the opportunity to taste game meats, sauces made from native berries, and various herbs from the boreal forest. In addition to these dishes that have its reputation, Restaurant La Traite also offers delicious vegetarian options, full breakfasts, and one of the most popular brunches in the greater Québec City area!

Whether you’ve come to experience a themed table d’hôte with four or six courses, to taste an à la carte dish, or to enjoy our Sunday brunch, you’ll quickly understand why Restaurant La Traite is one of the best restaurants in Quebec.
