A wedding at the First Nations Hotel-Museum, where encounters of the others make all the sense.

The Hôtel-Musée Premières Nations offers a unique wedding experience in Wendake, where meeting others takes on its full meaning. Organizing your wedding here goes far beyond choosing an exceptional destination nestled in Quebec City. You’ll benefit from an experienced team of specialists who will gladly accompany you throughout the planning process, creating a precious and unforgettable memory.

This experience includes an all-inclusive package, encompassing all the venues and services necessary to ensure the success of your event: hotel rooms, bridal suite, ballroom, exceptional scenery and photo locations, free parking, refined and unique cuisine inspired by the First Nations terroir, sommelier service for food and wine pairings, original cocktails, and above all, a variety of indoor and outdoor options for holding your ceremony on site.

Whether you’re planning a reception, wedding ceremony, cocktail party or souvenir photo shoot, you’ll be spoilt for choice with several exceptional venues, both indoors and out.

Our venues

At the heart of the Hôtel-Musée Premières Nations, you’ll be spoilt for choice with a selection of enchanting venues for your special event.

The Huron-Wendat Museum’s terrace offers a magnificent natural setting, bordered by forest and a small body of water along the river. This space lends itself perfectly to cocktails or ceremonies, offering a peaceful and immersive atmosphere.

Restaurant La Traite also boasts a picturesque terrace, nestled close to the forest and river. This enchanting location is ideal for hosting your ceremony, adding a touch of nature to your special day.

For unique photos, we recommend the palisades of the longhouse. This outdoor space offers an authentic and original setting, capturing the essence of First Nations history and culture.

If you prefer an indoor option with a panoramic view, the foyer of the rooms, located on the second floor of the Hôtel-Musée, is entirely glassed-in. It’s the ideal place to hold your cocktail party or ceremony while enjoying the natural beauty of the surroundings.

The Huron-Wendat Museum, adjacent to the Hôtel-Musée, is also at your disposal. Ideal for cocktails, you’ll be able to project photos onto three giant screens, adding a personalized touch to your evening.

The wooded area near the Tsawenhohi ancestral home is another charming outdoor option, located just a few steps away. This space offers an intimate, natural setting for photos or a small cocktail party in a small circle.

If you’d like to use the Akiawenhrahk’ river as a natural backdrop for your photos, its banks offer a simply enchanting setting.

Finally, for your wedding reception, the ballroom (Salle Wendake) can accommodate up to 150 guests in a round-table format. You’ll have the freedom to add a personal touch by calling on the services of a decorator of your choice.

Whatever your choice, these unique venues promise a memorable experience to celebrate your special event in the heart of First Nations culture and history.
